Marvels Guardians of the Galaxy now has Ray tracing, which gives players to choose another graphics mode before they start their intergalactic adventure. Marvels Guardians of the Galaxy had a power mode and quality mode, but ray tracing was noticeably missing. Now the latest patch Retracing has activated next-generation consoles like PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S. How to activate Retracing in Marvels Guardians of the Galaxy.
How to activate Ray Tracing in Marvels Guardians of the Galaxy
Retracing was added as third graphics mode so that it can be selected in the same way as in quality or power mode. Just open the settings menu, navigate to the video area and set the graphics mode to Retracing mode. This allows retracing reflections.
However, Marvels Guardians of the Galaxy has only ray tracing reflections, so do not expect raytracing-global lighting, shadows or something to see it in other games like Metro Exodus. Nevertheless, there are many reflective surfaces in the game, from the hull of the Milano to the shiny floors of a Nova Corp station, so that the effect should be quite noticeable.
Unfortunately, the ray tracing mode is locked to 30 fps and reduces resolution on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X to 1440p. If you are on the Xbox Series S, you are not lucky because this system ray does not support -Tracing in this game. However, Fans of Series S can now cancel the frame rate so that they no longer need to hold on to a 30-FPS upper limit as long as they tolerate an unstable frame rate. It is ideal for displays that support a variable update rate.
All in all, the retracing mode is a great complement to Marvels Guardians of the Galaxy. It is a beautiful alternative to the existing quality and performance modes. Players who wish the absolutely best picture quality can choose the quality mode to get a native 4K image, but those who want the failed new ray tracing functions can easily reduce the resolution to activate them. Of course, those who are interested in the frame rate can simply choose performance mode and chase aliens with smooth 60 fps into the air.
Marvels Guardians of the Galaxy is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and Nintendo Switch.
