USA confidently at the World Cup start

Fitforit USA has successfully started the ice hockey World Cup in Finland. The World Cup third won 4: 1 (3: 0, 1: 0, 0: 1) against outsiders Latvia in Group B in Tampere. At the same time, the German group opponent Slovakia in season A in Helsinki only triggered its mandatory task against France. The Olympic third defeated the Russia backer in the time-honored “Helsingin Jäähalli” with 4: 2 (1: 0, 2: 2, 1: 0).

The Slovaks will meet on Saturday (7.20 p.m.) for the selection of the German Ice Hockey Association (DEB), which is required on Friday (7.20 p.m.) against defending champion and record world champion Canada. In parallel to the game of the DEB team, Olympic champion and vice world champion Finland starts the tournament on Friday evening against Norway.

Riley Barber (8th), Seth Jones (11th), Thomas Bordeleau (12th) and Sam Lafferty (21st) scored the goals for the USA. Andris Dziners (42nd) provided cosmetics of results in the Letten. The German referee Marian Roatsch led the encounter as one of two main referees.

Pavol Regenda (11th, 60./EMPTY NET), NHL-professional Tomas Tatar (22nd) and Samuel Takac (39.) met for the Slovaks. Anthony Rech (27th) from the Grizzlys Wolfsburg from the German Ice Hockey League (DEL) and Jordann Perret (33rd) were successful for France.
