Engelhardt has drawn attention to himself in the Regionalliga Nordost through 19 goals and 14 templates in 34 point games.
His choice fell on VfL Osnabrück, which, despite “various attractive offers” of other clubs, was awarded the contract, as sports director Amir Shapourzadeh explains in a message from Lower Saxony.
“We are very happy that we were able to win a player with these special offensive qualities for ourselves.”
The 24-year-old attacker fits “playfully and humanly one hundred percent”.
The Engelhardt from Kulmbach was trained at 1. FC Nürnberg.
In 2019 he was drawn to Hansa Rostock.
In two third division years he played 13 competitive games and scored a goal.
After the second league climbing he moved to the regional league in Cottbus, now he dares to take another attempt in the 3rd division.
“With VfL Osnabrück, I chose an association with which it fits me in every respect,” says the newcomer.
